A California library system is seeking a vendor to provide Microsoft licensing and comprehensive network management services. The selected vendor will be responsible for administering the Wide Area Network that connects multiple library locations to a central data center in Fresno. Key responsibilities include managing shared technology services such as the Office365 subscription and email, maintaining firewalls and network security, and hosting the integrated library system (ILS) that supports cataloging and circulation for all participating libraries.
As part of this effort, vendors are requested to provide quotes for the purchase of 765 E3 and 15 E5 Office365 licenses for library staff, utilizing Microsoft’s Non-Profit pricing program. The scope also encompasses ongoing support and maintenance of these platforms to ensure seamless access and reliable performance for library operations.
