SUMMARY

Ontario seeks a vendor to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service for paperless work order management with GIS integration and real-time tracking.

DESCRIPTION

The province of Ontario is seeking a qualified vendor to implement Microsoft Dynamics 365 Field Service for a comprehensive, paperless work order management system. The project requires configuration of baseline out-of-the-box features within Dynamics 365 Field Service to meet specified business requirements. Key functionalities include full integration of Geographic Information System (GIS) capabilities, enabling map-based visualization as the standard approach for all field operations.

The solution must provide real-time tracking of staff, equipment, and material availability, along with monitoring task progress via the Dynamics 365 Field Service Mobile App and GPS integration. Field staff will retrieve and manage work orders electronically, supporting both scheduled and unplanned tasks initiated from inspections, field observations, or service requests within Dynamics 365 CRM. Additionally, robust reporting and analytics features are essential to support operational monitoring and inform strategic decisions.

Vendors should ensure the system establishes GIS-enabled, map-first functionality as the default for all field activities. The contract for these services will span two years.
