DESCRIPTION

The selected consultant will conduct a comprehensive assessment of the organization's Microsoft Dynamics 365 environment. This includes evaluating current systems, reporting structures, integrations, and in-house capabilities to establish baseline conditions and support delivery planning. At a minimum, the engagement will feature structured workshops for each relevant division, a thorough review of existing reports, D365 configuration, APIs, middleware, and related documentation.

The consultant will identify weaknesses in reporting, integration, data quality, and control processes, while confirming that standards, formats, classifications, and reporting requirements as defined by SIG are met. Specific activities comprise a mandatory audit of licenses, functionality, and internal skills, as well as a detailed assessment of enabled versus available D365 features, over-customization, and instances where manual processes have replaced system functionality.

Planning tasks will focus on prioritizing the reporting catalogue, defining relevant data sources and models, and outlining the reporting strategy using Power BI and D365's native capabilities. The consultant will ensure alignment with defined templates and reporting standards, address security and access control needs—including role-based visibility—and establish requirements for testing, acceptance, and ongoing support. Sequencing of implementation, dependency identification, and risk management will also form part of the planning process.

All questions relating to this RFP must be submitted by May 8, 2026.
