The State of Missouri is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive micro market services to support its social services and rehabilitation initiatives, including programs specifically for the support of the blind. This contract requires 24/7 operation and maintenance of micro market facilities, ensuring continuous availability and freshness of all products without gaps in stock or expired goods.
The selected vendor will work closely with the Family Support Division and Rehabilitation Services for the Blind (RSB), which operates a business enterprise program to create self-employment opportunities for legally blind individuals. The contractor must supply trained, knowledgeable route sales personnel who can consistently deliver effective and efficient micro market services. Additionally, the vendor will be expected to comply with strict confidentiality and data protection protocols, including the encryption of electronic correspondence containing sensitive information as required by law.
The initial contract period will be for one year, with expectations for high standards of service reliability, regulatory compliance, and support for workforce inclusion through the RSB’s programs.
