A government authority in Washington, DC seeks vendors to provide medium energy mobile systems capable of operating in both stationary and mobile modes. These systems are intended for the inspection of various types of vehicles, including privately owned vehicles, pickup trucks, buses, recreational vehicles, towed vehicles like trailers and boats, and commercial buses. Their primary purpose is to scan cargo conveyances, privately owned vehicles, buses, and sea containers.
The system must be able to display the entire length and height of scanned conveyances, from up to 12 inches above the ground clearance. It should export data for each conveyance in Tagged Image File Format (.tiff or .tif) and the international Unified File Format (UFF) version 2.0 or later. Radiographic images must be exported in native format for comprehensive analysis on image analysis software, preserving full functionality and dynamic gray-level range.
Analysts should be able to add graphical annotations, such as circles, boxes, arrows, and text boxes to the IDP files. Features may include system-generated identification and annotation of regions of interest, anomaly cueing, and denotation of conveyance areas. Technical questions related to this solicitation must be submitted by March 23, 2026.
