The state of Illinois is seeking a vendor to provide software for managing its medication assistance programs, focused on supporting low-income and uninsured individuals. The software should help identify pharmaceutical manufacturers that offer financial assistance or in-kind drug donations, thereby improving prescription drug coverage for eligible patients.
Key features required include interactive dashboard visualizations for monitoring key performance indicators and data insights, as well as patient digital enrollment functionality. The system should facilitate the identification of medication coverage gaps, automate program renewal processes, and track staff productivity and performance. Improving patient access to high-cost medications and increasing enrollment of uninsured and underinsured individuals are primary goals.
Vendors must demonstrate experience providing medication assistance program software in healthcare settings and ensure robust encryption and security measures to protect patient privacy. The contract term will be for a period of three years.
