DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Orlando, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide Group Medicare Supplemental and/or Medicare Part D Employer Group Waiver Plans (EGWP) services for Medicare-eligible retirees and their dependents. The plans should be offered on a fully insured basis and must cover both Medicare-eligible retirees and dependents, including those under the age of 65. While those under 65 may be allowed to remain on the self-funded plan, they should also be offered the Medicare plans.

The selected insurer(s) will provide fully insured group or individual plans using group billing and must coordinate claim submittals with Medicare where applicable. Additional requirements include the provision of online, web-based, and telephonic customer service and education tools for plan members. The scope of services also includes plan design, network, and pharmacy services, ensuring Medicare Part D EGWP plans meet or exceed current plans. The contract period will be for one year, and all questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by April 9, 2026.
