The agency is interested in programs that provide occurrence-based professional liability coverage, with tail coverage preferred, and minimum limits of $1,000,000 per claim and $3,000,000 annual aggregate. Eligible participants are all Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) medical students enrolled in the program.
Requested coverage should address professional liability arising from supervised clinical training and include telehealth or telemedicine services, Good Samaritan acts, legal defense costs and attorney fees, and coverage for students named in lawsuits involving training sites and/or preceptors.
