DESCRIPTION
The Department is seeking a vendor to provide a robust medical response system designed to facilitate effective communication and deployment of volunteer medical responders. The selected provider will be responsible for maintaining consistent communication with the Department before, during, and after emergency deployments.
Key responsibilities include operating an alert system to notify selected team members of upcoming or imminent deployments, providing volunteers with comprehensive action plans related to emergencies or disaster responses, and briefing them as needed. The system must also support confirmation and communication of transportation arrangements for volunteers to and from incident sites. Additionally, vendors will handle pharmaceuticals and required documentation for their disposition both before and after incidents.
