The government authority located in Austin, Texas is seeking vendors to provide comprehensive medical, prescription drug, dental, and vision solutions. The selected vendor(s) will deliver high-quality, cost-effective coverage that protects the System’s self-funded plan and provides financial risk mitigation. They are expected to provide superior claims management, risk management services, and ongoing support to both the System and its benefits administration team.
A thorough evaluation of current insurance plans against new and enhanced coverage options in the marketplace will be conducted. Vendors may be awarded contracts for medical, prescription drug, dental, or vision services based on evaluation criteria. Services required include medical claim administration, pharmacy benefit manager claim administration, dental insurance, vision insurance, and a transparent fee structure.
An optional pre-bid conference will be held on May 5, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by May 12, 2026.
