A Texas-based city is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive medical billing and coding revenue services. The selected provider will deliver Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) services, encompassing professional medical billing, coding, credentialing, compliance support, denial management, and detailed financial performance reporting. The contract aims to maximize collections, bolster financial stewardship, and ensure compliance and operational transparency for public health funding activities.
Additionally, vendors must be capable of accurate and compliant billing, including managing reimbursements such as charity care pools and supplemental payment programs in adherence to CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 standards. Responsibilities include claims scrubbing, pre-bill validation, and full lifecycle credentialing for both government and commercial payers. Seamless technology integration with city systems, compliance with federal and state regulations, and training for staff in RCM workflows and compliance are also required. The contract term is one year.
