The City seeks a qualified vendor to provide medical benefits consulting and brokerage services, offering strategic guidance on the City's Benefits Program, which encompasses self-insured medical and dental plans. The selected firm will form a strategic partnership with the City, delivering expertise, resources, and innovative solutions to address current and future benefits management needs.
Responsibilities include appointing a dedicated Account Manager to act as the primary contact for all aspects of the benefits consulting and services agreement. The company will analyze the City's health benefit plan designs, considering industry trends, labor market conditions, and claims cost trends. Based on comprehensive market analysis, relevant legislation, and plan availability, the consultant will recommend plan changes to help the City meet its Employee Benefits Program objectives and identify opportunities for cost containment.
The initial contract period will be for three years. All questions regarding this RFP must be submitted by April 7, 2026.
