This RFP seeks a vendor to design and implement a comprehensive Medicaid reimbursement infrastructure specifically for certified Peer Recovery Specialist (PRS) services in Virginia. The selected provider will be responsible for developing a Medicaid Reimbursement Implementation Plan that includes identification and benchmarking of comparable peer–service billing agencies, designing compliant documentation standards and workflows, and developing a billing-ready documentation system aligned with Medicaid requirements.
Additionally, the vendor will deliver training to peer staff on documentation and reimbursement compliance, conduct a trial-period documentation review with corrective feedback, and perform a comparable agency analysis. The scope also includes preparing a workflow integration plan, facilitating a training program for peer staff, as well as conducting a thorough documentation audit and compliance review to ensure ongoing adherence to Medicaid regulations.
