DESCRIPTION

The selected vendor will provide comprehensive media monitoring services, delivering a daily media summary through monitoring English and French–language media sources, including print and broadcast outlets. Coverage will encompass news releases, government announcements, Canadian health trade publications, and relevant social media content with specific attention to cancer, healthcare, and key pre-defined topics and keywords.

The monitoring will include tracking media coverage related to the Partnership, news concerning healthcare and cancer management in Canada, and governmental announcements from ministries of health, Indigenous affairs, and legislative newsrooms. News releases from pan-Canadian health organizations, federal bodies, cancer agencies/programs, and other pertinent organizations will also be included.

Social media coverage will primarily focus on LinkedIn, with additional monitoring of Instagram, targeting posts related to the Partnership, its initiatives, and associated programs, as well as select partners and thought leader accounts. A quarterly media monitoring report is required to analyze Partnership coverage, share of voice, and mentions in government communications. The initial contract is set for a one-year period.
