The State of Alaska is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive media, communication, and advertising services to support ongoing outreach, awareness, and educational initiatives. The contractor will be responsible for developing and implementing an annual media budget and spend plan, outlining planned advertising expenditures for each month. Recommendations should be provided on the most effective and cost-efficient media outlets per region, with coordination and negotiation of ad placements across social media, television (streaming and cable), radio, and print platforms. Increased outreach is required during three designated national awareness months.
Key deliverables include an annual communications plan, a detailed marketing budget, twelve monthly social media calendars, and the creation of corresponding content tailored to Alaskan audiences. The contractor will review existing communications materials and attend the Media Community of Practice, supporting the development of a collaborative, statewide media plan. Content creation should prioritize authentic, organic messaging that resonates with Alaska’s diverse communities, incorporating local voices and perspectives. The contract period is for one year.
