SUMMARY

North Carolina seeks an MDR/XDR security solution with real-time monitoring, threat analysis, vulnerability testing, and comprehensive reporting.

DESCRIPTION

The State of North Carolina is seeking a vendor to provide a comprehensive Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and Extended Detection and Response (XDR) solution. The selected solution should enhance the organization's security posture by addressing multivector threats and integrating data from various sources, including endpoints, networks, and security and email systems. The solution must be capable of aggregating and correlating alerts and insights to streamline investigation efforts.

Key features required include user-friendly dashboards, automated real-time monitoring with pre-built detection algorithms (such as for Cisco environments), and an adaptable alerting and ticketing system for security aggregation and reporting. The provider must offer detailed post-incident analysis, threat hunting, forensic analysis capabilities, and customer-accessible log data for performing custom searches. Additionally, the solution should enable dark web searches for all City domains and conduct quarterly automated web application vulnerability testing for up to 10 external or internal websites. Rapid incident investigation and comprehensive reporting are also critical elements of the proposed services.

Interested vendors should be prepared to address all requirements and submit any inquiries by February 6, 2026.
