Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The selected vendor will conduct a comprehensive, external review of the proposed draft core standards for Mathematics for a government authority in Utah. This process involves an in-depth qualitative and quantitative analysis of the standards, focusing on content alignment, rigor, and ensuring vertical coherence from Preschool through Grade 12 so that prerequisite knowledge effectively leads into more advanced topics.
The review will benchmark the draft standards against high-performing national and international frameworks to ensure competitiveness. The vendor will analyze the clarity and measurability of the standards, evaluating if they enable the development of clear assessment tools and maintain appropriate instructional focus. Particular attention should be paid to the integration of mathematical practices within the standards to ensure age-appropriateness and clarity, as well as to reviewing high school pathways in relation to student preparedness for postsecondary opportunities.
Deliverables will include an initial gap analysis, a detailed feedback matrix, and a summary recommendation report to inform future revisions of the Math core standards.
