DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Topeka, Kansas is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive maternal and child health council and care program services. This engagement requires statewide coordination of maternal and child health systems, including facilitating council meetings both in large and small groups throughout the year. The selected vendor will serve as the fiscal agent for related activities and ensure all website content is current, accurate, and compliant with web-based security standards. A component of this work includes collaborating on emerging priorities in maternal and child health, especially provider and continuing education initiatives, and thorough reporting responsibilities.

Additionally, the contractor will administer the Child Abuse Review and Evaluation (CARE) program. This includes ensuring referrals are reviewed by board-certified child abuse pediatricians affiliated with accredited children's hospitals or medical schools, providing continuing medical education (CME) accreditation for care-related trainings, and coordinating a network that convenes regular meetings and case discussions as needed. The vendor will be responsible for management and coordination of referral data systems and maintaining a publicly accessible, up-to-date program website for both the public and care providers. The contract period will span five years.
