California State University, Sacramento
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in Sacramento, California seeks qualified vendors to provide comprehensive master planning services for the development of a university-led economic center in downtown Sacramento. The scope requires expertise across multiple disciplines, including planning, site analysis, infrastructure, sustainability, and campus integration.
The selected vendor will be responsible for conducting planning-level capacity analysis of water, sanitary sewer, stormwater, power, communications, and other utilities, identifying infrastructure constraints, risks, and opportunities, and evaluating sustainability and long-term operational concerns. Coordination with utility providers and agencies, development of improvement recommendations, sequencing strategies, and planning-level cost estimates are required.
The master plan must establish a cohesive framework for the downtown campus, optimizing land use, establishing character and quality, integrating the campus with the main university, community, open space, and public transport, and identifying potential property acquisitions. Sustainability, energy efficiency, and technology considerations must be incorporated throughout the master and landscape plans. The contract is for a one-year period, and a pre-bid meeting is scheduled.
