The city is seeking a marketing partner to provide comprehensive services for Velocity Broadband, its municipally owned fibre network. The selected consultant will be responsible for developing and executing marketing strategies aimed at increasing brand awareness, driving customer acquisition, and effectively communicating the value propositions of Velocity Broadband.
Key responsibilities include shaping messaging, designing outreach campaigns, and enhancing engagement efforts as the broadband service continues to expand. The consultant is expected to create and maintain a Velocity Broadband brand style guide to ensure consistency and professionalism across all marketing channels. Additionally, the consultant will develop graphics, artwork, copy, and digital assets for email campaigns, online advertisements, and website content, particularly those supporting the ongoing Fiber to the Home (FttH) rollout.
Further duties involve conceptualizing, scripting, and producing promotional videos, coordinating creative direction, and managing the production of video and written customer testimonials. The consultant will also support the design and content creation for the Velocity Broadband website and affiliated digital platforms, aiming to improve user experience and audience engagement. All marketing activities must align with the organization's services and objectives.
