The selected vendor will provide comprehensive marketing services to develop educational resources aimed at increasing public awareness regarding personal actions to conserve water and energy, maintain clean air and water, and reduce waste. The initiative requires maintenance of a dedicated website featuring conservation tips, downloadable resources, lesson plans for educators, and a regularly updated blog.
Current activities supported include a K–5 art contest, 6–12 video contests, email newsletters targeting environmentally focused audiences and educators, and the provision of free resources that can be accessed digitally or shipped within Texas. The organization maintains a strong presence on social media platforms, coordinates seasonal marketing campaigns featuring digital ads, collaborates with influencers, and runs giveaways and advertisements on platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Pinterest, X, and YouTube.
Additional efforts include video production, placement of advertisements in schools to engage educators, creation of public service announcements, and buying television and digital advertising spots. The contract will span one year.
