The organization is seeking a marketing and advertising consultant to provide a comprehensive range of services designed to enhance campaign effectiveness and elevate statewide awareness, visitation, occupancy, and revenue. Responsibilities include creative development, with the design and production of new materials for both seasonal and long-term campaigns using current trends, data, and insights from collaboration with marketing staff. Deliverables will encompass graphics tailored for various media platforms, including digital, print, and audio, as well as developing new brand visuals and messaging as required.
The consultant will conduct media planning and buying to ensure cost-effective placement in print, radio, TV, direct mail, out-of-home, streaming, display, search, paid social, and other channels, including programmatic and direct ad sales. Support in digital media and analytics will involve social media management, troubleshooting tools such as Meta Business Suite and Google Analytics, and assisting staff with product updates.
In addition, public and media relations responsibilities will include generating PR plans, media lists, editorial and feature story creation, influencer contracting, and tracking PR placements. Site marketing strategies will be developed to promote parks at in-person events, and the consultant will provide graphics for sales collateral across print and digital media. The consultant must also implement robust tracking and measurement methodologies, including ROI analysis, and deliver regular reports on the effectiveness of all marketing, advertising, social media, and communication initiatives.
