DESCRIPTION

The county is seeking a vendor to provide mandated cost reimbursement services. The selected contractor will be responsible for preparing and justifying claims, including comprehensive documentation of all direct and allowable indirect costs incurred by local jurisdictions. The contractor must accurately identify, prepare, file, and monitor all eligible mandated cost reimbursement and test claims, ensuring full compliance with State requirements for timely submission and audit-ready documentation. The goal is to maximize reimbursement recovery for the county.

Key responsibilities include preparing and submitting cost claims according to current state-issued instructions for each reimbursable mandate, monitoring the status of all submitted claims—both for payments and approvals—and maintaining thorough oversight through every stage. Additionally, the contractor is required to provide qualified personnel to collaborate with county staff, review claim submissions, and ensure accuracy and completeness. The contract will have a term of three years.
