DESCRIPTION
A vendor is sought to manage and provide editorial services for a quarterly online magazine, The Circle, which receives approximately 200,000 visits annually. The selected vendor will work closely with the Editor-in-Chief to develop lists of topics, stories, and potential authors, as well as send queries to prospective authors and interviewees to determine storyboarding and contributions for each article.
Key responsibilities include producing 7–10 feature articles (each 700–1000 words), a 500-word editorial, and around four news briefs (of about 200 words each) per issue. The vendor will edit all content, including supplementary pieces and social media drafts, ensuring conformity with the WWF style guide and consistency in grammar and tone.
Additional duties involve identifying related website content for each feature, collaborating with a graphic designer to ensure accuracy and engagement of all visual storytelling elements, supporting the ongoing development of the publication, collecting author social media handles, and adhering to editorial timelines.
