The requesting organization seeks a vendor to provide hosting and programming services for its existing Management System operating on an IBM Power System with an IBMi platform. The selected vendor will also be responsible for hosting and programming for the Company Desktop, which runs on a Linux server with Apache Tomcat and utilizes an IBMi database. Additional requirements include hosting the existing MIZE DocCenter document management system across Linux and Windows servers, as well as hosting and programming for a custom web-based application and DB2 database for the Securities division that also operates on an IBM Power System, IBMi platform.
The service provider must deliver secure data center environments with controlled access, equipping, operating, and monitoring the data centers 24/7. Responsibilities will include hardware and operating system upgrades and maintenance (such as service packs and PTFs), maintaining hardware and OS support contracts, and ensuring high availability with redundant servers at a minimum of two separate sites. The contract period for these services will be two years.
