DESCRIPTION

Ferris State University seeks a vendor to deliver a comprehensive managed online textbook solution. The required system must feature Inclusive Access models, a student marketplace, and seamless integrations with institutional platforms, including Canvas (Learning Management System), Banner (student billing), and Ferris State University's identity environment (Microsoft).

The platform should include a faculty and departmental textbook adoption portal with robust functionality for department administrators and secretaries to submit, manage, and audit adoptions. Students must be able to order digital and physical materials, with direct fulfillment. The solution must support Inclusive Access digital course material delivery, pricing, provisioning, opt-out processes, and a used textbook buy/sell marketplace. Effective customer support teams for both faculty and students, plus integration with campus systems for single sign-on, course material discovery, billing (including dual enrollment), and milestone and deadline notifications, are essential. The initial contract period will be one year.
