The government authority in Oregon is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive managed IT services (MSP) to support its operational, administrative, and technology needs. Services required include project and transition management, especially support with migration from the current IT provider, and implementation of IT solutions.
The selected provider will oversee the setup of new users, removal of staff who are no longer with the agency, routine and on-call IT support, network and systems management, and deployment and configuration of new devices. Additionally, the scope includes centralized service desk support for all staff, offering both remote and on-site technical assistance as needed.
The engagement also covers management and security of cloud-based infrastructure, evaluation of cloud service providers, and integration of Software as a Service (SaaS) platforms. Tasks include identity and access management, cloud backups, software licensing and updates, as well as implementation and management of email and collaboration services, including spam filtering and email security solutions. The provider may host or oversee email services directly or engage qualified third-party providers.
