DESCRIPTION

The organization is seeking a vendor to provide a managed detection and response (MDR) solution, which offers continuous cybersecurity monitoring for the detection of malware and malicious network activities. This managed service will include support for rapid incident response and thorough remediation to eliminate identified threats.

The solution may be delivered as a cloud service, cloud subscription, software-as-a-service (SaaS), or via a hosted arrangement, covering all aspects including data security, data privacy, service level agreements, support, and maintenance. The vendor will be responsible for providing version updates to the MDR solution, encompassing enhancements, planned maintenance, and emergency fixes.

The system must incorporate endpoint detection and response (EDR), specifically utilizing Microsoft Defender technology to monitor endpoint devices for malicious or suspicious activities. APIs are expected for integration and configuration, and while customization involving software code development may be required, configuration should primarily involve setting up templates, workflows, screen forms, and reports without the need for additional code development.
