The Department of Veterans Affairs Michael E. DeBakey VA Medical Center (MEDVAMC), through its Network Contracting Office 16, intends to award a sole source, firm-fixed price contract to the American Nurses Association for MAGNET Recognition services. The contract will cover a one-year performance period, supporting the MAGNET accreditation process at the Houston, Texas facility.
As determined by initial market research, the American Nurses Association is the only credentialing body recognized for the MAGNET designation. The contractor will be responsible for ensuring the safe, secure, and careful handling and delivery of results, in accordance with Department of Veterans Affairs guidelines and a detailed statement of work. This notice is for informational purposes only and is not a request for competitive proposals, as only one responsible source exists for these services.
Interested parties who believe they can provide equivalent services may submit information demonstrating their capability by the outlined response deadline. Any such response must provide clear evidence that competition would benefit the government by meeting the established requirements.
