This platform should feature real-time location updates with minimal latency, support for multiple user accounts to facilitate collaboration among families and caregivers, historical tracking and movement analysis capabilities, and customizable geographic boundaries with automated alerts. Considerations for data security, privacy, and robust system management—including application, infrastructure, and service components—are essential.
The selected provider must deliver thorough training and training materials for both law enforcement and family members, ensuring effective use of the technology. Additionally, 24/7 technical support is required to address any operational issues. The contract will span one year, and interested vendors should note relevant deadlines and pre-bid meeting dates.
