DESCRIPTION

The project seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive local food promotion program services. Key activities include developing or revising a marketing plan, designing and purchasing marketing and promotion media, implementing and evaluating marketing plans, and supporting the processing, aggregation, distribution, and storage of local and regional food products. This includes value-added agricultural products and aims to encourage their development.

Vendors are also expected to assist with business development plans and feasibility studies, as well as develop marketing strategies for producers of local food and value-added products. Additional responsibilities encompass facilitating regional food chain coordination and mid-tier value chain development, promoting new business opportunities and marketing strategies to reduce on-farm food waste, and responding to evolving technology needs in indirect producer-to-consumer marketing. Support for business planning, feasibility studies, and development strategies for value-added agricultural products and local/regional food system infrastructure is also required.
