The government authority in Jacksonville, Florida is seeking a vendor to provide local and state government relations consultant services. Scope of services includes representing the authority at hearings before state legislative and executive bodies, obtaining state appropriation funds, and supporting the approval of grant applications submitted to local and state agencies. The consultant will also assist in securing necessary permits and approvals from various government agencies, provide access to key leaders at local and state levels, and address environmental issues relevant to the authority's strategic master plan, including dredging and associated projects.
Additionally, the provider is expected to facilitate prompt approval of required grant applications and permits as they arise. The contract for these services will be for a one-year period, and all questions regarding the RFP must be submitted by May 1, 2026.
