The government authority in Pembroke Pines, Florida is seeking a vendor to design and configure a live fire training prop. The scope includes fabricating a single-story fire training structure using containers that are structurally modified and reinforced as a single integrated training prop. The prop should represent a single-family residential layout with compartment configurations suitable for fire behavior training, as well as a functioning residential-style garage door.
All structural modifications must be engineered and fabricated to endure repeated live-fire training exercises. The project also requires the installation of four hinged steel doors (each 40" x 82") constructed with steel, internal bracing, triple hinges, and NFPA-recommended latching systems. Additionally, four hinged steel windows are to be installed as specified.
