TIMELINE


Phase 1: Procurement begins at contract award and is estimated to be completed within eighteen (18) months, with no more than six months for procurement document development and twelve (12) months for tendering.

Phase 2: Implementation begins after Phase 1 concludes and is estimated to be completed within thirty (30) months of contract award, concluding once all CF H Svcs Gp sites have transitioned off the end-of-life PACS.

Phase 3: Records Management and Disposition may begin at contract award and is estimated to be completed within thirty-six (36) months of contract award, concluding when disposition of the end-of-life PACS is complete and operational support transitions to the new PACS solution vendor and supporting staff.

A Transition Period will commence on the date of contract award of the new CF H Svcs Gp PACS solution.

The Contractor must provide a detailed Transition Plan within three (3) weeks after contract award of the new CF H Svcs Gp PACS solution.

DESCRIPTION


The vendor is required to provide comprehensive lifecycle management for the Picture Archiving and Communications System (PACS), supporting storage, retrieval, distribution, and display of medical images used in diagnostic imaging for members. The contract includes supporting the organization in acquiring a new PACS solution, overseeing its implementation, and ensuring seamless data transition as the existing PACS is retired.

Responsibilities include records management and disposition to ensure appropriate handling of data during the transition, as well as providing resources with expertise in PACS lifecycle management. These resources will be responsible for administration, hardware, software, network, and overall data requirements, fulfilling operational needs throughout the three-year contract period.
