The government authority in Washington, DC is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive life and medical insurance services. The scope includes Group Life Insurance services with fixed premium rates, covering each employee with $352,000 in life insurance. The services must also encompass accidental death and dismemberment as well as partial and total disability coverage.
Medical coverage requirements include a range of services and supplies provided during hospitalization, such as licensed healthcare provider services, bed and board (semi-private accommodations), use of operating, recovery, and intensive care rooms, diagnostic testing, hospital nursing care, physical therapy, and all in-patient drugs and medicines. Additional coverage is also required for outpatient or ambulatory care, including surgeon fees and medical services provided at various medical facilities.
