A library in Texas is seeking a qualified vendor to deliver a comprehensive RFID-based library system. The project requires a complete solution, including the supply and delivery of all necessary equipment, software, and services for a full implementation.
The scope of work encompasses the installation and setup of RFID self-checkout kiosks, RFID security gate systems, and staff workstation conversion kits. Vendors must also provide RFID tags for library materials, ensure system software integration with the current integrated library system (including KOHA and existing Envisionware systems), and conduct on-site installation and configuration.
Additionally, the selected vendor will be responsible for providing thorough staff training to ensure a smooth transition and effective system use. Proposals should account for all components and services required for successful deployment and ongoing operation of the RFID library system.
