DESCRIPTION

A vendor is sought to provide hosting services for a library integrated database system. The scope includes system implementation, data conversion, workflow configuration, and comprehensive training for both end users and system administrators, all under the supervision of a qualified project manager. The solution must be delivered as a fully managed Software-as-a-Service (SaaS), requiring no on-premises hardware, software, or database management by the client.

Vendors are required to maintain robust administrative, physical, technical, and procedural safeguards, adopting industry best practices to protect library data from unauthorized access, destruction, use, modification, or disclosure. The system must support enterprise single sign-on (SSO) solutions, enforce NIST-compliant password policies, and allow for the creation and modification of access control groups.

Additional responsibilities include the complete migration and conversion of data from the current Integrated Library System (ILS) to the new system, ensuring accuracy and consistency. The platform must also support integration with third-party applications via SIP2 protocol or APIs, and client software must conform to ADA legal standards and offer modern user interface features such as keyboard shortcuts, mouse-wheel scrolling, right-click context menus, copy/paste, and multi-window or tabbed information presentation. The contract period is set for five years.
