DESCRIPTION

The vendor is required to provide a library digital content platform capable of delivering digital library materials in various formats, including compatibility with Kindle formats such as azw, azw3, and kfx. The platform must support access to digital periodicals in at least 25 languages, including Spanish, Chinese, and Vietnamese, and offer a customized website solution for downloading digital materials.

The solution should offer access to e-materials databases from major publishing houses, such as Hachette, HarperCollins, Macmillan, Penguin Random House, Simon & Schuster, as well as additional publishers including trade, university presses, small presses, foreign language presses, and specialty publishing houses. A web-based online bibliographic database must be provided.

Circulation data at the title level is required, including information about total checkouts (current, overall, and year-to-date), current holds, and the number of copies owned. The platform must be compatible with current versions of Apple Safari, Google Chrome, Microsoft Edge, and Mozilla Firefox, and utilize responsive web design to support desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones. The vendor is also expected to provide a content migration plan for integrating purchased content from another platform into their content management system.
