DESCRIPTION


The issuing entity seeks a vendor to provide a library automated patron notification and renewal telephone system. The solution will manage automated telephone notifications for library patrons, as well as handle inbound calls that include automated item renewal services and an information phone line. The platform must support both automated outbound notifications to patrons and provide a means for patrons to call in to the system to access their account information and request renewals.

The system may be either cloud-based or locally hosted and should be capable of handling an outgoing call volume of approximately 10,000 calls annually, with incoming calls of up to 20 per day. Integration with the Polaris Integrated Library System (ILS) using SIP2 or an industry-standard communication protocol is required. The solution should provide accessible information to library staff regarding call statistics and outcomes, either through system-generated reports or by passing data to Polaris ILS.

The contract is anticipated to last for one year, with vendor queries due by March 25, 2026.
