DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Kane County, Illinois seeks qualified vendors to provide liability insurance and workers’ compensation broker consulting services. The selected firm will offer comprehensive support in the design, marketing, placement, administration, and enhancement of the district’s liability, property, casualty, and workers’ compensation insurance programs.

The consultant will serve as an advisor for all matters related to liability, property, casualty, and workers’ compensation insurance. Responsibilities include assessing current program structure, recommending optimal risk-financing approaches, and developing both short- and long-term risk-management strategies. The firm will be required to evaluate risk exposure data—such as payroll, student activities, fleet use, facilities, and safety practices—and recommend effective loss-control, risk-mitigation, and cost-containment solutions across all liability and workers’ compensation lines.

The scope of services also encompasses providing the district with detailed, comparative analysis of existing insurance programs versus proposed options, assisting in the selection of the most favorable renewal or placement alternatives, and delivering analytical support for annual actuarial evaluations. The contract will span three years.
