DESCRIPTION

The District seeks a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive broker and consulting services for liability insurance and workers compensation. Responsibilities include serving as an advisor on all liability, property/casualty, and workers’ compensation insurance-related matters, reviewing and evaluating existing coverage—including limits, retentions, deductibles, endorsements, and exclusions—and assessing program structures to recommend optimal risk-financing strategies such as self-insurance, high-deductible programs, consortium participation, captives, or traditional placements.

The vendor will also develop both short- and long-range risk-management goals and strategies tailored to the District’s operational needs and loss trends. Benchmarking against comparable school districts and public entities is expected, along with a thorough evaluation of exposure data relating to payroll, student activities, fleet usage, facilities, and safety practices. The scope includes researching viable insurers, third-party administrators, and risk-management service providers, and presenting a detailed cost-benefit analysis for each option.
