DESCRIPTION
A government authority in Texarkana, Texas is seeking a vendor to provide both leased lit and dark fiber services for a ten-year contract period. Vendors are required to offer fully managed leased lit fiber service, including all necessary materials, routing equipment, optics, software, configurations, labor, appliances, and any other items necessary to deliver a complete and functional service as specified by the agency.
For dark fiber services, vendors must provide comprehensive test results prior to project acceptance and service activation. Test results, including Optical Time Domain Reflectometer (OTDR) reports, must detail minimum information for each fiber segment such as cable ID, origination and termination locations, fiber ID, wavelength, segment length in kilometers, and bi-directional loss.
