Port Authority Of New York And New Jersey
Organization overview and procurement intelligence available on paid plans.
The government authority in New York is seeking a qualified vendor to lease, design, build, operate, and maintain an electric vertical take-off and landing (eVTOL) vertiport service. This facility is to be a common-use vertiport, exclusively dedicated to passenger operations for eVTOL aircraft and must accommodate multiple original equipment manufacturers and operators, ensuring there are no exclusivity or proprietary constraints for usage.
The vertiport should be designed to provide flexibility for all eVTOL aircraft models currently undergoing, or expected to undergo, Federal Aviation Administration type certification, as well as future models with similar operational and physical profiles. Bidders are expected to provide a comprehensive overview of services offered to both aircraft and passengers, including details on operational, storage, passenger, support, safety, and ancillary space requirements. Additionally, vendors must outline the complete passenger journey, emphasizing accessibility for all. Proposals should include projected passenger demand and flight operations over 3-, 5-, and 10-year periods.
The contract period will be for one year, and all vendor questions must be submitted by April 30, 2026.
