A government authority in Augusta, Maine seeks a vendor to provide comprehensive lawn care services for its grounds. The scope includes mowing, trimming, weeding, pruning, mulching, watering, and general grounds maintenance. Vendors will be responsible for removing and replacing old mulch with finely ground black mulch, cleaning the parking lot and sidewalks, and edging concrete walkways as needed.
The contract also includes filling and repairing pavement holes (with materials provided by the State), monthly mulch refreshing between May and September, painting and straightening posts in the back parking lot once during the contract period, as well as regular mowing, edging, and trimming on a weekly basis, ensuring no more than one-third of leaf blades are removed per mowing. All services must be performed with attention to maintaining a clean and safe environment, especially when using leaf blowers near vehicles. The contract period will last one year.
