DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Salem, Oregon is seeking a qualified vendor to provide comprehensive landscaping, weeding, and mowing services. The selected contractor will be responsible for furnishing all necessary labor, equipment, tools, and skills to maintain the property’s landscape in an attractive condition throughout the contract period.

Maintenance activities will include, but are not limited to, mowing, edging, pruning, fertilizing, watering, and clean–up. The contractor must supply all required safety equipment and personal protective equipment (PPE), such as safety vests, eye and ear protection, and gloves, to their staff. Lawn areas are to be cleared of debris prior to mowing, and any debris created during mowing must be collected before leaving the area. Mowing should ensure a well-maintained appearance without scalping or excessive clippings left behind, with the frequency set at once every seven to ten days during the growing season (March 7–November 1), and otherwise when grass reaches four to four and a half inches in height. Lawn height is to be maintained between three and four inches, with clippings removed from the site after each visit.
