DESCRIPTION

A government authority in Salt Lake, Utah, is seeking a vendor to provide comprehensive landscaping and snow removal services. The contractor will be responsible for maintaining properties as specified, performing both landscaping duties and snow/ice management throughout the year.

Snow removal requirements include clearing driveways and parking lots using plow trucks upon call-out or at a minimum 2-inch accumulation, as well as removing snow from sidewalks, courtyards, playgrounds, and other outdoor areas at 0.5-inch accumulation using small equipment or shovels. Materials such as salt, ice-melt, or sand should be applied to all required surfaces per specifications. Upon request, the application of these materials will be billed hourly in 15-minute increments for each property.

Vendors must ensure overnight snowfall is cleared from all properties by 6:00 a.m., and materials removed from sidewalks within 24 hours of application, with special attention to entryways. The contractor must provide 24/7 service with a guaranteed response time of 60 minutes or less from call-out to snow removal commencement, and snow removal must occur concurrently at all awarded properties. Accurate snow logs or labor reports are required for invoicing. The contract will be for a period of one year. A pre-bid meeting will take place on May 8, 2026, and all questions must be submitted by May 14, 2026.
