The government authority in Merced, California is seeking a vendor to provide landscape maintenance services. The scope includes routine maintenance, inspection, repair, and winterization of irrigation systems, along with weed control, disease and pest control, pruning of shrubs, trees, groundcover, and other vegetation, litter removal, fertilization, replacement of plant material, and turf maintenance such as mowing and edging.
The work also includes maintaining sprinkler systems to ensure proper coverage and full working capacity, making necessary adjustments to prevent excessive water runoff into streets or other unintended areas. The selected vendor will be expected to inspect all areas served by automatic irrigation systems for malfunctions and perform necessary repairs. Additional responsibilities include groundcover maintenance, traffic control setup, and dust control maintenance.
