SUMMARY

Seeking landscape architectural services for green infrastructure projects to mitigate stormwater runoff in flood-prone areas of Dearborn, Michigan.

DESCRIPTION

The government authority in Dearborn, Michigan is seeking qualified firms to provide landscape architectural services for a series of green infrastructure projects. These initiatives, funded in part by the community development block grant–disaster recovery (CDBG–DR) program, are focused on mitigating stormwater runoff in heavily flood-prone areas of the city, specifically in the northeast and southeast sections.

The consultant will support the city in planning, designing, and managing the construction of a selected green infrastructure project. Strategic locations are currently being identified and assessed, with the goal of implementing effective stormwater management solutions that go beyond traditional gray infrastructure methods, such as gutters and pipes, by leveraging sustainable green practices. The contract will span a three-year period and includes a mandatory on-site visit for interested parties.
