The software must efficiently store both analytical data and instrument metadata in files or a database, as required by laboratory personnel. Integration of instrument and hardware communications, analytical data storage, and sample metadata (specifically for 40Ar/39Ar geochronology) within an intuitive graphical user interface is essential.
The resulting application should enable laboratory staff, who are proficient in the programming environment, to maintain and modify the software. Reliable storage of data in appropriate file formats or databases is required, along with the capability to conduct automated run sequences for data acquisition. Additionally, the solution must feature a graphical user interface for the entry of sample metadata.
All questions about the RFP were to be submitted by April 29, 2026. The contract period is one year, and this bid is set aside exclusively for Total Small Business vendors.
