California laboratories are seeking a vendor to provide annual licensing and comprehensive support services for a Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS). The selected vendor will implement a LIMS solution designed to serve as a single, authoritative record for laboratory data. The system must enable robust sample lifecycle tracking and chain-of-custody management while improving efficiency, consistency, and accuracy in laboratory operations.
Additional requirements include supporting the scheduling of sample collection based on clients and project needs, and offering tools—both software and hardware—for efficient field sample collection and data management. The LIMS must be scalable to accommodate future growth and evolving technology landscapes. The vendor will also be responsible for providing thorough end-user and administrator training, supplying detailed training materials and system documentation, and assisting with system go-live and post-implementation stabilization.
